FAQ

Aqua Nautical Adventures practices tag and release on all bill fish. We encourage our customers to keep edible fish which the crew will advise you accordingly.

Seasickness does not affect everyone, Most people will not get seasick depending on the sea conditions. We encourage you to take a motion sickness tablet even if you have been out to sea before. “Stugeron” is available over the counter from all pharmacies. Take one tablet the night before and one tablet on the morning of the charter. A good breakfast is always a good idea before a charter. A hangover is a bad idea!!

Blu-Ray is equipped with top of the range Shimano tackle that is specifically setup for one of the types of fish we target, namely: Billfish & Marlin. A variety of lighter tackle is also available to target the other large species of game fish in our waters. We also have various other rods to cater for bait & bottom fishing. We prefer that you do not bring your own tackle and utilize the tackle on board.

But should you prefer to bring or use your own equipment/tackle, this can be arranged prior to your charter.

No guarantees can be given that every charter will be a successful one. We have full confidence in our ability to find the fish, however some days weather conditions, sea conditions, and downright bad luck can play a part in the days catch. Our Crew will do everything in their power to ensure you catch plenty of fish!

The boat is moored and departs from Wilsons Wharf. Safe parking is provided within a short walk from the boat. Please be at the boat at least 20 min before the set departure time.

We believe that tipping is a gesture in return for great service. This is not obligatory, please feel free to tip our crew if you wish to, we know they will love it.
